Design and function section

The design of the Rich Century portable electric air pump is much smaller than I expected. The entire device measures 19.5 x 7.1 x 4.6 cm (including the pumping tube), resembling a power bank, making it very convenient to carry.

There are five buttons on the front of the portable electric air pump. The "+" and "-" buttons are used to set the tire pressure. On the left is the LED flashlight switch. A long press activates the emergency signal light mode, which continuously flashes. The button on the right serves multiple functions: switching the inflation mode, setting the tire pressure standard, and starting or stopping inflation. Notably, the AP04 vehicle air pump supports two air pressure standards, BAR and PSI, with a conversion of 1 BAR = 14.5 PSI. You can switch between these units by long-pressing the mode switch button on the right. In the center is an LED digital display that shows the current air pressure value.

In addition to the standard American air nozzle, the AP04 vehicle air pump comes with three other nozzles: a French nozzle, a swimming ring nozzle, and a ball needle. This means that, besides inflating car and motorcycle tires, it can also be used for balls, swimming rings, and other items, which is very convenient.

Instructions for Use

Using a car as an example, press and hold the start/stop button in the middle of the AP04 device to turn it on, then switch the mode to 2.5 BAR for car tires.

Connect the air hose to the tire valve. When the sound of air escaping stops, it means the connection is secure.

The AP04 portable electric air pump features an automatic stop function when the preset tire pressure is reached. For example, when refilling a car tire, set the air pump to 2.5 BAR. Press the start button to begin inflation, and the pump will stop automatically once the tire pressure reaches 2.5 BAR.

Other devices follow the same procedure, such as 2.4 BAR for motorcycle tires, 35 PSI for bicycle tires, and 8 PSI for balls.

It is worth noting that the noise level of the AP04 portable electric air pump is only 80 dB within 1 meter during inflation. This is reportedly due to its metal direct-drive structure, anodized aluminum alloy cylinder, PTFE piston ring, and other materials, which effectively reduce noise and provide a better user experience.
